Software, built for good — at no cost to the mission.

We design and build custom applications for non-profits and community organizers, often donating our development services so they can spend their resources on people, not software.

Why we do this

Great software can multiply the impact of a small non-profit, but most can't afford a development team. ICanHelpNetwork exists to close that gap: we partner directly with organizations doing real work in their communities and build the tools they need.

We don't want cost to be the reason a good idea doesn't get built. Depending on the size and scope of a project, we often donate some or all of the development time. Hosting and infrastructure are typically the non-profit's own cost to carry, the same as any other software they run.

How support works

Every project is different, so we work out support case-by-case:

  • Development time is often donated, in whole or in part, depending on the size and scope of the project.
  • Hosting and infrastructure costs are typically the non-profit's responsibility. For smaller, lower-traffic projects, we're sometimes able to cover those costs ourselves.
  • Ongoing support after release is also handled case-by-case, and may carry a cost depending on the scope of the work.

If cost is a concern for your organization, reach out anyway — we'd rather talk through what's possible than have cost be the reason a good idea doesn't get built.

Get Involved

Whether you run a non-profit with a problem to solve, or you're a developer or designer who wants to help build the next tool — we'd love to hear from you.
